More than 80 schools locally took part in FutureChef 2009, a national cooking competition for 12-16 year olds and head chef Russell Pearce assisted a pupil from St. Joseph's College in Dumfries. The Schools Home Economics Teacher, Mrs Dorrans praised Russells involvement and Russell was only to be pleased to offer his encouragement to young aspiring Chefs!
