Jacquies Beauty, the premier five star salon in Dumfries has been awarded the top honour of Beauty Salon of the Year at the prestigious Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards 2011.
Announced at a glittering awards ceremony in Glasgow, Jacquie Brown, Salon Owner and Johanna Pollock, Therapist had attended the awards as they had been told they had won a coveted top ten place. They had no idea they had scooped the top prize until their name was read out.
Jacquie said “We are delighted to have won this award in our first year of entering. We were up against some top salons from the industry and were honoured to have been placed in the top ten. To have actually won the award is amazing, and is down to the hard work and dedication of the whole team. I am very proud of the quality service we offer at Jacquies and would like to thank our customers for nominating us.”
A member of Dumfries Chamber of Commerce and Thrive Networking group, Jacquie is all aware of the benefits of such an award not just to her business, but also the reputation of Dumfries and the area as a whole.
