Q-Describe what you do at Easterbrook
Sales and marketing assistant, events administrator, receptionist, occasional food server. I think the scope of where I work and what I do makes it interesting.
Q-What is the most enjoyable thing about working at Easterbrook?
Every day is different and that’s what keeps things fresh and exciting. You just never know what you are going to do next!
Q-Who is the most interesting person you have met at work?
The first minister Alex Salmond came to Easterbrook last year. It was the first Scottish Summer Cabinet to be taken out of Edinburgh and a great event for Easterbrook Hall.
Q-Tell us what your favourite activity is at work and why
Ooh so many to choose, I love being at reception during events, helping event organisers achieve the event they want and I love helping out in sales and marketing and would enjoy doing more of that.
Q-What motivates you?
The satisfaction of a job well done.
Q-What is your ambition for Easterbrook?
I think exciting things lie ahead for Easterbrook Hall. We have an amazing product and we are evolving it constantly. I would love to see the volume of events grow at Easterbrook and the products we deliver…..
Q-Describe a personal achievement.
Creating our in house bridal e-zine. I was tasked with creating regular communication for our brides which was both interesting and informative. I felt a real sense of achievement by creating a new creative feature and managing the project from design to distribution.
Q-What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Don’t get much of that, but when I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my two children, so cinema, swimming, going for cycle rides in the summer and all other child friendly activities. If I ever get the chance a nice meal and a bottle of wine goes down well.
